When I was playing ribbon hero, I was struggling, because it didn't tell you were to go or were to start. You just had to play around with everything and use common sense and knowledge from past leanings. It would be good if the teachers let the students play ribbon hero first then made them do the tutorials. It would probably be hard for them to but that way they will struggle then they will get it. Once they do the tutorials it will be super easy for them.
This exercise was difficult but that way I learned more. I really like this game, you struggle, then eventually get it. In the tutorials we already knew what we were doing their is no fun in that. I like to struggle and find things out on my own. Most people in my class said they liked this exercise also.
Technically I still had my uncle and well, his "family." Although it will never be the same. My father is dead my mother gone missing probably dead as well. I cant believe it I shouldn't have come I could have maybe saved my mother. I came I just had to follow my uncle to this place. Don't get me wrong this place its so....... magical! I regret coming but, I am here so there is nothing I can do about so I walked back to the house. Surprising enough it was empty. Well at least that what I thought until Romeo came out of no where and scared the living daylights out of me! " Don't ever sneak up on me! " " I didn't sneak up on you I heard someone come in and I thought it was a criminal." " Fine" I said walking past him. " Listen Joshua I'm sorry about your mama and papa." " It's fine."
I laid on my hay mattress, thinking. When out of the blue I saw a golden light coming from some where far off. To be specific in the direction of the home on the angels. I got up and walked toward it. It took me a few minutes but when i got there I couldn't believe my eyes. Their in front of me was an ....... angel. An angel that looked very familiar. I was going to go and get a better look when in a flash the light went out and the angel disappeared. Then I realized.
The trip to the home of the angels, was super fun! Never in my life had I had so much fun. I never want to leave this place. sadly my time here flying by. What people say is true "Time flies when your having fun." I only going to stay her for 3 more days then its goodbye beautiful, magical, and fun filled city. Hello ugly, stinky, boring home town. i met up with Elisa and Romeo. " So what are we doing today? " I asked' I was really excited for today. " We have to go to school and help out around the village Sorry. "This really bites I have 3 more days here now I cant even spend one precious day alone doing nothing at all! " Alright, See you tomorrow. "
It was windy today judging by this weather, their had to be sandstorm far east. I hope it doesn't do any damage my parents live on the east. When I got close to the mud house my uncle was...........Crying? " Uncle what is wrong ?" "Son, I think you should know that......your father was killed in the sandstorm a day ago!" I was to shocked to notice that Romeo had been in the house. I couldn't help and before I knew it one tear had escaped my eye. " Is my mother...Alive?" "Shes gone missing" What no mother and no father. I stormed out the room. I ran and ran until I got to the Home of the angels. "Curse this enchanted village."
" Joshua, Romeo is your cousin." Oh my goodness, this news is shocking! "What? " I said " Romeo is your cousin, I am married to his mother." So apparently my uncle, brother of my mother had a family nobody knew about! " Oh" Is all i could say. I went up to our room, and got some trousers and a old shirt. When i was walking I still couldn't believe what had just happened " Romeo how come you didn't tell me we were family" I said " Because I didn't know you came with my Father!"
" Hey Elisa Guess what? " " What?" " Joshua and I are cousins!" Elisa's face made a confused look. "Oh!" " My father is Joshua's uncle!" "Well I didn't expect that!" " can we please go swimming now!" " Oh yes of course!"
The pond was very, beautiful and sparkly to look at from the outside. Although if you open your eyes inside it there are so many fish, water snakes, and worms! There's a waterfall with water
I think Romeo and Elisa were disappionted I was leaving in a short period of time. "Well, if your leaving in a week lets make the best of it!" said romeo " Yeah we could give you a tour of the village." said Elisa " Lets go then! " I said Romeo and Elisa showed me around the whole village, but I think we were looking for something. We approached a large swamp looking thing. It wasn't dirty though. In fact the water was transparent. " Here we are we call this place Home of the Angels! " said Romeo
This place was unlike any other! " Do you have anything that can get wet under your clothes?" " No, but I can run to the mud house my uncle and I are staying in and get some!' " Do you know your way back" asked Romeo " Well I'm not sure" i said " I go with you than!" said Romeo So we left Elisa next to The Home of the Angels, and walked for what seemed lik 15 minutes until we arrived. " Look at that I fiinally found you" said my uncle who was sitting next to a women. " Sorry I did not tell how long I would be gone." " Thats alright son a boy must have adventures!
While my uncle went to visit some of his old friends I explored the land. I pasted by a school it seems as it was dismissal time. Lots of children of all ages came out of the tiny school im suprised so many kids fit in there. I guess a boy around 15 must have noticed me because, he seemed to say goodbye to his group of friends. " Hello " " My name is Romeo, what is yours?" " I am Joshua." I saw a girl coming towards us " Hey Romeo what are you doing?" " I am having a converstation with my new friend Joshua." " Oh, im sorry I didn't see you there I am Elisa by the way." " Nice to meet you" I said a little to enthustastic. " How old are you?" said Romeo " 14 What about you guys" " I am 14 and Romeo is too. " " I have never seen you in our village did you and your family move here?" " No, i am here with my uncle we only plan to stay for 1 week."

One time my friend was being bullied for being skinny .I thought the people who were bulling her were jellious she was skinnyand they werent . I told my friend that it shouldnt bother her ,that we could just tell a teacher . Thats what we did ,we told our teacher.The teacher told the bullys their was no excuse for bullying and that it was unexsptiable . they got suspended for 3 days .
Middle school may sound like a nightmare but it really isnt . Here are some helpful tips to survive Middle school . 1st off dont be late to class ! If u are late to class dont show up WITHOUT a tardy slip . the teachers will send you to the office and that your learning time . 2nd do your homework everday or you' ll get homework lab . 3rd be on top of everything espically your grades because if you dont get good grades youll get launch room detion!
I'm so exicted about this oportunity to go to Washington D.C. it only happens every other year . I saving up to go . The first stop is pennsilvenia and the we take a plane to New York . I think it will be very fun after we arrive in New York we'll check in a hotel then will visit other places .Im most excited about going and seeing the White house in person . I plan to ask many questions to lean alot that way when the trip is over i'll have the best storey to tell my family !
I am so happy about this trip because who knows if I ever will get to visit New York or Washingtion D. C . .
My thrid week at Edison Computech Middle . My thrid week at Computech has gone slowly and smoothly I've manged to stay out of homework lab and lunchroom detention. I really need an A in E.L.A and Science if want to keep out of detention.Middle school isnt so hard just be on your best behavior and try your best . Most kids freak out about middle school they shouldnt its like elemntary just theirs 8 teachers but their all the same subjects.it can also be fun . you get to meet alot of differnt children you have never meet before . You also have more sport options. Like in elemntary you might have only had volleyball , basketball , softball and crosscountry .In middle school you have golf , crosscountry , volleyball , basketball , soccer and much more .
