How do rainbows form? No the answer is not that leprechauns form them. And neither is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, actually a pot of gold has no end. Have you ever noticed that a rainbow shines after it rains. Well as soon as the sun can be seen again after it rains is because light reflects on the water droplets. Let is either reflected by water or a prism, but that involves bending light and other complicated stuff.  That is why a rainbow has no end because it is just light.
The thing I wonder about is how  does the rainbow  stay up in the sky if it is just light being reflected. Wouldn't it just disappear. I still haven't learned this. When I do figure it out I will make sure to update it on my blog. The whole light reflecting and making color really fascinates me. I really like this subject because, I never knew where rainbows came fr

So last week I made an educated guess about why the sky is blue. Today I am going to tell you why it is really blue. So the sun or what it shines which is light has several colors. The rainbow colors as we all know. So the color blue is the shortest of them all. That is why the sky is blue, because blue is the one that reaches all the way to the sky. I made a guess like this but not exactly on the point. It was fun researching this. Like seriously who doesn't want to know things like this.
Of course a lot of people already knew this from basic science lessons we get at school. I guess i should pay more attention. Our science teacher Mrs. Poole went over this light subject about two weeks ago if I'm not mistaken. Although we did not go completely over this subject. I hope this was helpful

So, why is the sky blue? Well, i'm not completely sure. I was assigned to do this post without looking it up. My best educated guess is that, there are chemicals that create a blue color in the sky. By chemicals, i mean air. There is something around the earth called an o-zone. This o-zone was created a long time ago, by the first living species. The earth was originally like Mars, red and orange, because of the some chemical whose name I forgot.  These first species slowly made the o-zone, they were like cleaning the planet.

My second guess which I think isn't even close to right is that lights are playing tricks on us. The grass is green because a green light reflects on the grass making it look green. I think lights are playing tricks with us! This could be po

How did a plant get from one plant to another? Well, it couldn't possibly swim across. An animal couldn't have swam it across either. The answers to these questions is Pangea. For the people who don't know what Pangea is I will tell you. Pangea was a super continent about 4.6 billion years ago. It was made out of all the continents here today. Have you ever noticed that all the continents fit together like a puzzle piece. Well now you know why.
The plant that scientist found was the key to unlocking many things. By investigating this plant, scientist found another plant of the same kind but across the countries! They then asked themselves how this was possible. They then came to a theory that the continents were once a super continent. Eventually pangea started to break apart and become what is now.

I think the greatest discovery ever was, Evolution. Without Evolution being discovered we wouldn't know were we came from.We wouldn't know how other species evolved. Evolution was discovered by Charles Darwin. He came up with some theories on how evolution. Although, because he was a christian, it went against his religion. So he never really published his theories. Evolution is a really interesting subject.
Without it we wouldn't know a lot of things like from what did humans evolve? I think evolution is interesting because, we can also predict what future species will look like. We can't be 100% sure but it is almost close to what we predict.

Santa Claus, some people believe in him some don't. Although his existent has always been a mystery. Flying reindeer, can exist! Well, at least that what people think. There are over 3,000 unidentified species, even if most of them are insects and germs flying reindeer might be one of them. Santa fly's all over the world huh? Well, his trip isn't that hard he doesn't  deliver to Jewish, Buddhist, or Islamic children. Eliminating 15% of children of the world. He also delivers only to children 18 or younger, not all the people in the world.
Santa also can be able to finish his job because, most of the world have different time zones. So if its  2 am in Mexico it can be 1 am in California. Which would help Santa finish just in time. Santa Claus is an amazing person fairy tale, or whatever you consider him, but he can do great things in very little times. He brings joy to children all over the world. Don't judge Santa because no one knows what hes capable of.

The Edible cell project was useful. This project was useful because, after wee did the project i memerised their nmes and functions. Their size and shapes helped me remember them. Since our edible cells were built to look like an animal cell I rembered their shape and sizes. After a while I did not have to be looking at our cell to know what is what. Now I have it memerised. This project should be repeated next year for the next 7th graders. I think that the people that didn't do well when our teacher Mrs. Poole quized us, was becaue they where to excited that they forgot that this assignment was to learn also, not just for fun!

What Im learning in science is the metric system .We did some activitys to help us understand the metric system . Some of the measuring items such as counters , pipes , pencils , paper clips , and boxes . We also did an activity were we make paper frogs jump and we measure how far they jump . Our teacher Mrs.Poole said that the metric system is important if u want to be a good scientist . She has explained that mesuring can be tricky if  you dont start from the zero .The thing were studing yesterday was caulating volume lenght and height which method is v times h times w .

What traits do I get from my parents? Well I get my height fom my father. I get my eyes from my mother. I get my nose shape from my mother's sister my aunt. My sister gets her hazel eyes from my mother's brother my uncle but my sister got most have her traits from my father. My father has white skin and tall and big thats my sisters body shape and skin color.
My younger sister gets most of her charectristics from her father. She has almost black eyes and she gets her black hair from my mother. Shes not very tall she gets that trait from her father. Also she has thick her from her father. We all got some traits from our parents!

I know that cells are working even if I don't feel circalation. I know this because without cells working my body would give out and I would die. Cells have many jobs and if my cells didn't do their jobs correctly a lot of things would go wrong. So thats I know that my cells are working and cirrcalating properly. My science teacher Mrs. Poole taught us this and assighned us a page in the IR  book that really helped me improve my understanding of cells. Although you can not see it, hear it, or feel it your cells are in fact circalating. There are many ways you can tell if your cells are moving. 1 is if your cells stop mioving you would die. 2 is if you feel your body unusal
